Kawasaki KDX220 - Great 2 Stroke Woods Bike -$1400 Boston

I'm selling the KDX220 that I got from Gino last year. This bike is in awesome shape, Gino took great care of it and I've added some things that it needed and fixed anything that was needing fixing (and even somethings that didn't)

So, it's got a new chain, new clutch, I replaced a bunch of bearings over the winter, cleaned the carb with an ultrasonic cleaner so it's spotless, replaced the clutch lever with a Pro Taper unbreakable lever (this thing is awesome, the lever tilts every which way on a breakaway pivot, plus it has reach adjustment and easy on the fly clutch tension adjustment) and the bars with TAG bars and new grips, and I put ultra-heavy duty tubes in it just to be safe.

For those that don't know what the KDX220 is, its a great 2-Stroke woods/trail bike. The engine will lug like a 4 stroke through the technical sections and come alive on the pipe like a 2 stroke when you twist into it. It's really the best of both worlds. The suspension is setup perfect for the woods, the bike already has the airbox mod and a FMF pipe and silencer, so this bike is ready to go.

I'm getting more into motocross, so I want a class appropriate 250 four stroke and I just don't have the space for a 4th bike, so unfortunately I have to sell this. It's too bad, I love the bike. The reg is good in MA until 2015 and in NH until the end of June. Comes with the MSO also.

Rode with Mark and this bike a handful of times last year. It's flawless.

Mark, does this bike have a lighting coil to run a headlight? I'm wondering if I could reg. it in VT.

Um, I don't know. I can look, I'm pretty sure the headlight existed in there at one point, I believe I saw wiring for it. The tail light is wired for sure, but I never tested to see if it was getting power. I'll look into it tonight and get back to you.

He doesn't, I asked him the same thing when I bought it. Then I realized that in the semi-communist state I live in, I'd have a better chance registering a flying saucer than getting a 2-stroke a real plate. So I just rode it in the woods

Hmm. I have a CRF250R you might be interested in. I got it last fall and have found I like woods riding a hell of a lot more than MX.

the KDX does have a lighting coil to run the headlight ( that isn't installed in that picture ) From the factory they had a headlight and tail light. Not much in the way of brakelight switches or brake lights
