I am selling my 2000 YZF r6 I would like around 2K or a trade for a decent race worthy SV or similar bike.
The good:
frame measured by Peter Kates (GMD computrack of Boston) and is very straight.
Forks rebuilt by Peter Kates (GMD computrack of Boston) spring rebound and compression valves from race tech.
Rear shock rebuilt by race tech.
Sprung for 190-200 lbs rider.

Engine is solid i've only ever used full synthetic oil and have done nothing to her other than 4 degree timing advance.
Hot bodies body work
Dunlop n tech gp-a 211 tires. Front has one race on it and one practice session rear has about 3. I'm not that fast at all so tires have plenty of life left.

The bad:
The second gear dog bones are slipping 2nd gear need to be replaced. Second gear will slip out of gear whenever on the throttle hard. This is a very common problem with this year bike and by swapping the transmission out with one from a 03-05 r6 or 06-08 r6s the problem will be permanently fixed. or one could simply under cut a new gear and replace old one which will also end problem.
I wanted to keep bike but I don't have the time or know how to fix the transmission and I just want to race. With that I will trade her for any bike I can just hop my sorry butt on and race or sell her for enough cash to get another race bike.
She is not street capable without new front and rear wire harness. I've cut all un need wires. This was to be my dedicated race and track bike I never intended to ever sell her.
