id be pretty scared that theres no oil in there. bearings are probably all junk

The mistake is draining the oil out. Seals are shot and the crank will most likely need a rebuild. Very expensive to fix.

Barn Find. Titled RZ350. 7533 miles. Stored since 1996. Fuel, oil and coolant drained prior to storage. All original except mirrors. Bike has the YPVS power valve and oil injectors. Both in working order. All instruments work. Original exhaust in great shape. Never raced or dropped. Gas tank has no dents. Bike will need brake and carb work and cleaning. Please see photos for overall condition.

Looks pretty damn clean to be me, price seems to reflect the condition.

Dilemma is what to do with it, if you start to restore it, be prepared to sink some cash which would probably make it more than you could buy a nice one for.... See this as an example.. http://hartford.craigslist.org/mcy/4478403924.html. That's a lot nicer for only $600 more!

There is a roach on the WERA beeb for $700 or so. Needs bodywork, but has all the upgraded goodies to trounce these CL hipster bait listings.

Exactly correct... When 2 stroke street bikes were outlawed in the US, Yamaha immediately stuffed the motor into a quad frame and created a legend.
