Motorcycle Pannier Hard Boxes

I prefer my soft bags over these hard boxes.

Happy trails Aluminum 7.5” panniers for sale. Came with a bike but don’t plan on using them. The cost a fortune new from the websites (~$700 for a pair).

Selling for $250 for the boxes & hardware. Located in Woburn Ma. Can meet up within reason

Pre drilled w/ mounting hardware less one small $8 piece. It is one of the 4 L brackets that mount the box to the frame/racks.

Will trade for waterproof enduro pants w/ liners if you happen to have some.

How come you prefer soft bags? I did some serious touring on the SV with soft bags and it left a desire for hard bags in the future. Surprised to see this feedback. Maybe I can reconsider my wishlist without having to buy things to try out. Thanks!

Considering OP said they'd trade for waterproof enduro pants, I'm going to assume the soft bags are being used offroad.

SRT is correct as well as storage reasons.

I don’t have much space to store the bike with the hard bags on and I do prefer a slim outline on my bikes for single track when I have time. Hard bags are amazing for long touring but I haven’t done much long touring yet.

The time will come where I run something like a TAT where they may be nice but for my application I like a soft dry bag
