Time to part ways with my little truck. Asking $5k. Pasted from the CL ad -

Nicely optioned Ford Ranger XLT Super Cab - 4.0 6 cylinder with 5 speed manual transmission. 2WD/4WD-Hi/4WD-Lo, A/C, CD player, cruise control, alloy wheels. Bedliner, trailer hitch and matching cargo cap.

Well maintained. In the recent past - new clutch and slave cylinder, alternator and battery, front rotors and pads. Regular oil changes. Rust is not an issue

Its been a very reliable truck, moved me to the Southwest a few years ago, and then recently moved me back. Has a couple scratches and dings like any 14 year old vehicle but overall very good condition. Pictures are a couple months old, but nothing's changed since then. I need to get something smaller for the city. Cash only, no trades

Some interest but no offers. Most Rangers of this vintage are priced a bit lower but this one has the right options, recent maintenance, doesn't have the rust those other Rangers have and I'm open to offers. Someone needs a truck, this one is worth a look.......

Actually it seems to be missing a key option. Automatic transmission. Its a nice looking truck, desirable but I think that is the problem. People who settle for a standard expect it to be reflected in the price. My roommate would be all over this if it was A/T.

Rambunctous - I think the manual is an advantage for a truck. Nice OD gear for highway cruising and more control if you're towing anything.
