Since I just ordered a professional high-powered zoom, I don't need one of the two of this model lens that I have. It is a G-type lens and will fit ALL Nikon digital and most auto-focus Nikon film cameras made after 1990.
Purchased in July of 2009 from B&H Photo, this lens is a USA-warranted (but actually made in Thailand) lens, as it has the steel bayonet (see photos).
It takes extremely good action shots, as this has been the primary lens type Annalisa and I have been using for motorsports and equine action photos.
More info on the lens here: http://www.nikonusa.com/Nikon-Produc....6G-IF-ED.html.
The lens comes with:
- Original packaging
- User's manual
- LC-67 67mm snap-on front lens cap
- LF-1 rear lens cap
- HB-36 bayonet hood
- CL-1022 flexible lens pouch
- Digital Pursuits 67mm UV filter to protect the lens (a $40 filter)
The USA-warranted version retails $589. This lens has been well cared for and I'm looking for $300, firm.

What did you get to replace it?
Nice lens...... I have the non-VR version of this lens and anyone that is buying this is getting a real nice piece of glass.

D90 here. I think we've chatted out at the T1A bleachers before. Definitely interested; I'd like to talk to you to confirm this is what I've been looking for. Are you at the classic? Not sure whether I'm going to make it yet.
