Hey guys, just upgraded to some gangster 18's and now my 17's are up for grabs.
Here's the deal so read this first! There are two brand new Nexen5000 tires in the front. These are ultra high performance all seasons. I have 2 tires that have been used for a little while on the back. When I did the measurements before I mounted the wheels, the OUTSIDE ROLLING DIAMETER was within 1/4" of each other. I don't know how, because the tread measures 9/32 (new) and at best 5/32(on the worn) tires. I can re-measure all the tires again when I get a chance.
I ran them with higher tire pressure in the worn ones just in case.. but I can try to re-measure them in my basement if there is interest, or FWD owners will love this.
So tires are all NEXEN 5000 two of which are brand new in the front, THREE are at 5/32 of tread.. yes that's one extra tire that comes with it.
Size is 215/45R17
The rims are:
Lucca rims 17X7 with dual 5/100 and 5/114 offset 42mm

This is an image, not the actual tire.
They are a gunmetal/hyper silver color and in pretty good shape. One nick of curb rash, and a few nicks here and there from getting a lug out etc. All rims are straight and true.
I might photobucket some pictures but for now just PM me with an email or phone so I can send you some picture messages of them or better images in the basement.
Looking for $500 starting bids on the entire set! Pickup please preferred, or meeting up within reason can be done.

Pictures Please and What do they fit on? Thanks rhobbs266@yahoo.com
I'll shoot you an email when I get home and download the pictures off my phone.
Cars that this will fit: Basically everything with 5 lugs except for german cars, ie VW, Audi, Mercedes, BMW.
If you tell me your make and model, I can certainly just go online and check it out. Most common cars I can say is subaru, mitsubishi, mazda, honda (5 lug) toyota
Check the offset however, 42 is a conservative number that usually works for every car, but some that may have smaller stock wheels might need a larger offset to fit the 225 width car.
YES, Pix Please. I sell all kinds of cars and would stick em on something.
Thanks, I'm undecided if I like the new look of the wheels I got, but I can always buy another set at a later time, was just going to go larger while I could
Here's a photobucket link guys, let me know if it doesn't work!

And a shot of all 4, I'd say the rims are really in great shape, the knicks etc are more than fair for anyone that isn't using it as a show car! I can certainly explain all the pictures if you need be!

Tempting... specs are right for me (nice Legacy, btw), and this the style of wheel I'm looking for come spring/summer (i.e. mesh, BBS CH or LM reps or similar)...
Maybe if these are still available in a month or two I'll seriously consider them for my 92x.

Thanks for the compliments!I do like this style and was happy with them, just felt like going larger to 18's. Whenever I manage to sell the R6 and get a mini-van for the upcoming expansion of my family, if I have these rims I very might well try to pimp my van.. har har. I'll keep looking at the post, if I do manage to sell the rims, then I'll update it. The price I think is really good, considering tires alone are close to the same cost.. which means the rims are basically free.. either way, I priced it about 50% of value, which is usually where I start on used items in general.
Hehe I've read a lot on the Saabarus..They do look unique and I like it. What's wrong with those Rota's? They look pretty sharp on the car now! You should see the wheel gap on my car with my baby and a passenger in the back seat with groceries.. if I lowered the car anything I'd think it would rub! The fronts could use a little drop though... haha
Bump, want to get these moved so I can maybe fund a few more $$ towards a project bike to kick around. Stop me from putting these wheels on the mini-van.. it'll just be a little too ricey for me!![]()
all mk4 Jettas/Golfs and only VR6 mk3 Jettas/Golfs are 5x100. So are comparable year Audi TTs and Beetles. Those will sell in no time on vwvortex. Great looking wheels right there!
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
Thanks for clarifying... i should login to VwVortex then.. or would you mind posting a link? I haven't been on in too many years when I owned a 98 A4 and 99 A6.. those had 5X112 though.. I am surprised nobody has snatched them up actually. If the tires were a little taller I really might consider putting it on the minivanI still am dabbling with the idea of doing it just for the pictures, but I really don't have the free time on my hands .. har har.
What is the center bore on these?
hubcentric rings?

I believe it's 56.1mm ... been a while since I looked it up, just googled it. But that's the bore of my subaru, so I suppose that doesn't help. I do have the rings sitting in my trunk, I could measure them out. Would think it would fit any car unless you got a huuge hub. FWIW I ran them without hubcentric rings when I first got them, only when I swapped to a new set of tires did I feel a wobble and just purchased some online and have kept them on since.
Darn it... totally forgot about this thread and juuuuust bought a set of wheels last weekend. At least they were super cheap...

Lol crud.. why not buy an extra set of wheels with tires?![]()
Because my GF would kill me, and I don't need them.
Set I got was made by Rays... and I got them for a song... so, even though they're not the exact style I was looking for - they are growing on me. I need to get some tires soon -- nice to see that the 225/45 on a 7" wheel works well. Or looks like it does, anyway.
These would work with VW's that are 5x100, but the offset isn't low enough for those crazy kids.
Do you have this posted on NASIOC/NESIC? Or maybe New England Subarus?

Nuts guys.. I was looking at one of my close up pictures and I think I goofed on the tire size.. it should be 215/45r17 I'll double check it tonight. This may change things for some people. Yes I was running 225 originally and I think that's where I goofed...
Wirelessly posted
I measure about 73mm od of the ring
Mazda and Subaru, for example, have different hub diameters and are both hub-centric. So while they will fit some of those cars, some of them would need hub adapters to use the wheels.
Subaru STI's after 2004 or so use 5x 114.3 (actually 4.5") hubs. Most all other Subarus are 5x100. Stock rims on the STI are 7.5" wide but these might be good for snow tires if they clear the calipers Stock offsets on Subaru rims are usually 48-55mm.
