Ok, i have a deal on the table right now with an 03 636 +$2k... It isn't set in stone so I thought maybe a fellow forum member would be interested...
trades I am interested in:
anything on 2 wheels that gets 45+ mpg
anything 4 cyl std that get 30+ mpg
bottom line is I need $2k in cash and a better commuter...

details:
I purchased this bike new in April of 03 in Raleigh, NC. This bike was built and maintained by myself with no intensions of ever selling it. A new pregnancy has changed those intentions. This is a rider痴 bike; all of the upgrades done were done to enhance the performance, comfort and usability of an already incredible machine. While this bike appears to be stock I assure you, is it is far from it. You will not find a nicer z1000; this bike is pushing 140rwhp, has a complete race suspension and braking system. Every year since new this bike has been torn down and gone though. All Kawasaki manufacturers recommended service intervals done to the 典 per the factory manual (included in sale), including adjusting the valves (done this winter). This bike has never broken down I am looking for $6500. Possible trades considered but I need to realize at least $2000 cash.
This bike is currently registered, insured and inspected. Never crashed, clean title in hand.
Engine:
-Hindle Full Titanium exhaust
-DynoJet Power Commander III
-Air box modified for maximum airflow with a K&N hi-flo air filter
-1998 zx9r flywheel, stator and cover installed the z1k flywheel is heavier then the zx9r, this mod allows the motor to spin up.
-EBC Kevlar Streetracer Clutch
-Spectro Full Synthetic, Kawasaki OEM filter every 1500/2000 miles
-Coolant Engine Ice in the riding season, drained and straight coolant during the off season
Suspension:
-04 zx6r forks (stock z1k forks are not fully adjustable). Forks send to G.M.D. Computrack Boston to install their patented race valves, new springs and anodize the tubes black and adjusters red.(this year, have receipts).
-Penske fully adjustable rear shock (purchased for G.M.D. Computrack at the same time the forks were done.)
-Matrics Steering Damper
Brakes:
-04 zx6r radial front brakes and master cylinder.
-Stainless Steel braided lines on the front and rear.
-New this year EBC HH pads on the front and rear.
-Synthetic Brake Fluid changed every year
Apperance/mics:
-New Michelin Pilot Power tires at the beginning of the season (NO BURNOUTS!)
-Pazzo Clutch and Brake levers
-Corbin front and passenger seats
-Zero Gravity double-bubble windscreen (have stock)
-Fiberglass bellypan
-Tail raised 1 ｽ (this helps the geometry of the bike so it handles better)
-kickstand extended to compensate
- -1 +2 sprocket configuration with new chain (done over the winter)
- frame and engine case sliders
-鼎rispy痴 barend mirrors (as seen on the zxr1200 Cycleworld痴 long term test bike)
-Sylvania Silverstars H7 headlights
-Integrated taillight (the right way, brake/tail is red, turn signals amber)
-LED front turn signals
-under seat plate mount with 4 white LED痴 lighting up the plate (the police will not bother you)
-Stainless Steel braided hose covers for all the coolant hoses.
-Molson XXX beer can modified to fit around the starter (the starter is ugly and I had to take it out to change the flywheel?hy not lol)
-horn relocated
-a TON of black powder coating and some paint.
