Partial Part Out K3 GSXR 1000

Sale via eBay fell thru, nobody seems to think she's worth $5k as she sits... so here's a part out feeler thread. If any two of these sell (or any 2nd item past the wheels) I'll part it out and put her back to stock.

$2000 - PVM Magnesium Wheels - these are modular, so can be adapted to fit just about anything. No major scuffs or scrapes, fitted with brand new wheel bearings.

$750 - Ohlins 3-way adjustable shock, high and low speed compression WITH hydraulic spring preload. Rebuilt by GMD

$400 - DPH Thorston Durbahn Carbon Fiber increased capacity airbox

$500 - STM slipper clutch WITH brand new OEM Suzuki friction and steel plates

That's a shame no one is interested. Its a lot like my 750 and its still one of the best bikes I have ridden.

If all else fails I'm moving on and will sell another bike and keep this. Undecided, it's such a freaking weapon as it sits it kind of boggles my mind. Plus, something tells me it might prove slightly more reliable than my older Ducatis...

That really sucks Scottie. I had a lot of problems selling my RC51 too but got lucky with a buyer in Cali. That thing is clean and if I had room (and dough) I would pick it up. Would love to go stealth.

Ps: you got time to do tires soon?

Yeah... it is what it is. It's surely stealthier than my ST2 (which announces itself from miles away).... but ah well, we'll see where it goes.

As for tires, yep I'm around but better make it tomorrow (morning or evening) or weds evening, I'm off to the track thereafter and not back until next week.
