Attachment 20799Looking to sell my 1999 ducati 748 track bike. It has high miles but I can show you prior service records that show this bike was well maintained. I DO HAVE the last reg from RI so this bike CAN be titled. I have all street plastics ( tho rashed up) minus the headlamp as it fell off my bench and broke. It has new unscathed 916/748 race bodywork custom painted in the Italian flag theme with white number plates painted in. It was signed by Ducati legend Doug Polen on the gas tank. It has new (one track day) continental race tires.The ecu has been chipped. Exhaust cans have been punched out. Is fully safety wired and Has a brand new Ohlins steering damper on it. I have an extra rear wheel. New grips, custom one off fairing mount. Anyone that was at the track day and saw this bike can attest to it's beauty. This bike runs perfect. I'm looking for $3000. FIRM!! Not looking to make money. Just break even. I've got my eyes on another bike so DO NOT give me some low ball number. I took a lot of time tranforming this bike to what it is now. put the street stuff on it and sell it on craigslist Providence( for the title issue) for 3800,00 Easy as a streetbike. Then sell the body work.

I know what I have into it is worth a lot more than $3k when it comes down to the time, labor and parts. Shit the paintjob Alone is worth almost a grand. Anyone that says different doesn't know squat.

People want Raceparts Suspension,Rearsets Slipper clutches ect things that make it better as a trackbike. Pretty paintjobs are of little value in the trackbike market.

It does look killer though

I've probably averaged about 8 track days a year (a third being at NHMS) for the past 3 years and this being my fourth and I only just got into the 25s at those Bomo days. those middle fingers were more jealousy than anger hence it was the one with the big grin ()not the made face one
