    This is an '03.. so EFI? Right?
    What kind of front wheel would one need to make this thing go? Brake rotors too I imagine..

    You can get a sv front wheel with everything for cheap on eBay, this bike needs like 500 bucks invested to be on the track

    It has a GSXR front end so you'd need a GSXR wheel. I happen to have one sitting in my basement so who ever picks this up feel free to pm me, if I don't get back to you right away, I'm on vacation.

    But there is a lot of info (and mis-info) out there about gixxer front end swaps on these bikes. It seems some front end swaps are trivial, others require mixing OE parts, and still others require custom parts maybe? Haven't read all there is on SV's yet.

    I figured I'd ask the OP as the OP did the swap and should have a conclusive answer handy.

    I BOUGHT THE BIKE FOR 400 AND PUT 1100 IN THE FRONT END, REAR SHOCK, PC3, CLIP-ONS, SLIPPER CLUTCH, AND MISC OTHER. I AM JUST TRYING TO GET WHAT I PUT IN IT SO FAR. I AM MAKING NO MONEY ON THIS BIKE.

    So is it just the wheel and tank that's needed to run this thing? Do you need calipers or any other controls as well? Gotta add all the pennies to see if it's worth it, but I am sorta maybe interested.
