After a lot of consideration, I'm putting this bike back on the market. Even though the ergonomics are significantly better than stock, I have a bulging disk and pinched nerve in my cervical vertebrae that makes this bike unbearable to ride for long periods of time on the street. Track riding is different, because I'm constantly moving around. It's on Craigslist this time around, so you know I'm serious. http://worcester.craigslist.org/mcy/2562182229.html
I'm asking $6300, firm.
The good:
- Transferable Honda warranty, until November 2013
- 5525 miles, all maintenance done according to schedule
- GMD-installed Penske 8987 Triple-Clicker shock
- GMD-installed Penske fork internals
- Jardine Carbon Dual-Outlet slip-on and mid-pipe
- PCIII w/ proper map for slip-on & aftermarket filters from DynoJet
- BMC street filters
- Galfer smoke SS brake (front & rear) and clutch lines
- Woodcraft 1.5" clip-on risers
- Gilles tooling rearsets
- Woodcraft blue-anodized frame sliders
- Woodcraft spool sliders
- Gold Pazzo shorty levers (both clutch and brake)
- Evo-Tech tail tidy fender eliminator
- ZeroGravity dark smoke DB windscreen
- StompGrip tank grip
- MotoWizard fork preload adjusters
- LP short stalk V turn signals (front & rear) all with quick-disconnect plugs
- Newer Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires installed at 4900 miles. They have 2 NJMP track days and 400+ miles of street riding on them.
- Now includes Pitbull front and rear stands. Front stand is a pin type with pin to fit the 1000RR triple, Rear stand is a forward lever type for spools
The bad:
- There are 2 small scratches on the front of the bike from my front stand (see photo) They are currently covered by the striping on the upper.
- The PCIII's map seems to make the bike run lean, causing the pipe to runa little hot. It puckered both sides of the lower, the left side is noticable. (see photos) I installed large pieces of adhesive heat shielding to the inside of the lower. The bike could probably use a custom map. I also purchased new "Honda" decals for the lowers, since I was originally going to replace them, but decided not to.
All in all, a great bike. Smooth power and LOTS of it. Maybe a bit too much for me. I never used all of it. Not even half of it.
NADA has the bike's average retail at $7575 and Kelly $6995. Clean title in-hand.
I've invested well over $3K into this bike and it's very well sorted for a street bike. Hell, it would convert very nicely over to a track or race bike as it has the right clip-ons and rearsets for a racing position.
The bike comes with all the stock parts as well (exhaust, rearsets, clip-ons, rear fender, windscreen, shock, fork springs, and en extra set of lowers I picked up on eBay)

It looks sooo much better!

Sorry Eric. I really thought I could make this work and the shorter rides I did with you weren't too bad.
But I went out with Annalisa for a few hours last weekend and when I got home, I was a mess. It also took me a couple of days to stop hurting.
I have the tools to get myself better, but it takes time and that bike doesn't help.
You can buy it now, if you're interested.![]()
Someone has to buy this bike! I'm so trying to resist buying it. Damn Chuck! Why did you have to upgrade this bike with excellent parts?!?
This is going to be a bargain like the Stinger was.
