trade for a ninja 250?
That is correct and all anyone will need to register it in a state which does require titling is to have the certificate of origin and a copy of the sellers registration. I just went through this with a 2010 Ninja 250r that I bought in VT for my girl who then decided she wanted to wait to ride. In order for us to get it registered in MA we needed a copy of the VT registration as the Mass Registry would not solely accept the certificate of origin. Be prepared to hand that over to anyone who purchases the bike.

Thanks for the info. I'm happy to sign whatever forms you need if you're taking the bike to a titling state.
