Nikon says the camera is ~8.5oz without battery and card. It's a rechargeable batter, so I can't really weigh a couple AA's to tell what total weight is. Do you know of have access to a scale to figure it out?

Also, are there any buttons on the back that would be depressed if you put it flat on a table, pointed at the ceiling, and pressed down on it?

hey dan , i dont have a scale sorry cant tell ya ...and not sure on the buttons as the cameras are still in the box and im not taking them out until someone is ready to buy and they can pull them out and check ..
