I dont see too many sites for sale on here so hopefully no one has a problem with me posting this here. I am posting this site for sale, not to advertise it. I have no interest in keeping this site to earn income from it. I was going to keep it but just dont have the time for another project. Thats why I am selling it. A few people on other motorcycle forums have asked me about it so here it is:

I built this site for one of my customers but he ran into financial problems and couldnt pay me the other 50% of his initial deposit, so the site is mine. I just moved it to its own premium domain www.SportbikeSprockets.com. Which is a great domain name that is worth my asking price x4. I cant believe vortex or some other big company hasnt picked this name up.

The website is basically an affiliate ecommerce store that allows you to run your own motorcycle aftermarket parts store business without having to invest huge amounts of money upfront to purchase an inventory of product or dealing with the headaches of handling orders, shipping and billing.

How it works:
Someone comes to your site, searches for chain and sprockets for their model of sportbike and they get a list of products that are currently listed on ebay.



They click on an item that interests them. If they buy it you get a commission on that purchase paid to you from ebay themselves. Even if they end up not buying that item and buy something or anything else on ebay within the next seven days, you still get that commission. Even if they end up buying something else from ebay totally unrelated to motorcycle parts or sprockets. Heck, they could buy a car and you'd still get a commission on that purchase.

I am a web designer and developer. I make sites like this for a living and always have a few sites for sale in various other niches. I usually dont hold onto sites. Just as a real estate investor doesnt live in the house he just renovated to sell.

Usually I make them upon request but when someone doesnt pay their bill I sell it to someone else...like I am doing with this site. Or I just make them to sell....kind of like a real estate developer but with online real estate. If that makes sense lol.

ANd to answer a few questions Ive had via PM:
Will this site make you a millionaire without you doing nothing? No. Get real. Can it make you a few extra hundred dollars per week if done right? Absolutely.

I just noticed your ebay store. This site can also be setup to display items from only one seller on ebay. You would get commissions per click from this site by driving traffic to your own products. But they would need to be regular listings on ebay, not in an ebay store.

You would arrive to this site not because you are wanting to shop ebay. You would arrive to this site because you where searching google for sprockets for your sportbike.

If you saw something that peaked your interest you would click on an item an be brought to its ebay auction. That click just paid the site owner.

lol are you serious? Its a damn website. Give me a break.

Take the site somewhere else and host it, I dont care.

Nowhere in my writeup do I say it needs to be hosted with me. If you look back over my writeup I clearly state "Free Hosting for 1st Month". I am giving a way a Free month of hosting with the site. After that you can do what you want with it.

Every website needs to be hosted somewhere and you're going to have to pay someone to host it.

I charge $4.95 /mo for hosting, if you find a better price or just want to go somewhere else...by all means go.

Like I said above, monthly hosting with me is $4.95 /mo or $49.95 /yr. Or you can take it to someone else like godaddy, hostgator...whereever you want once the site is yours.

The site is a little over a week old.

There are obviously not much earnings yet. Probably $5-$10 at most.

I created this website and now I am posting it here because I belong to this forum and thought someone here might be interested in it. If not, oh well.

I am a real person and I've met quite a few of the members here in person.

I did create this website. The graphics, layout and content are my creation. You are correct. I use studiopress wordpress themes as a basis for most of my wordpess designs. Great platform to build upon. If it was a custom wordpress design I the going rate would be $1495 as it takes hours + days to create. Usually, the type of people to buy a custom website are business owners.
