Would you be up for renting the bike for the whole weekend, with the fee counting as a down payment if I later decide to buy? (If not, bully for you, have some cash.) Realistically I'm not in a buying position right this moment, but this way rather than renting a machine from Penguin, I can at least justify some cash over the cost of the class by calling it a down payment.

Is the bike Production Twins legal still? (And what other classes is it legal/appropriate for?)

And will my tubby 145lb soaking wet in full gear build work with the suspension as it's setup?

still Production Twins Legal, you can also run Lightweight sportsman and gtl and be somewhat competitive in novice classes.
If you want to rent it for the race weekend, go right ahead. I have no clue as to what to charge.
