    Toy Trains - time sensitive

Anyone into train sets? My neighbor has the whole village thing going that he's not taking to his new house. They're doing an estate sale towards the end of next week. He doesn't know if it will sell, but he'd rather find someone who wants it rather than someone taking it in order to resell it. If interested let me know and I will get details and pics. Milton MA.

A retired neighbor of mine has half his entire basement dedicated to his train set(s). I'll mention it to him. Down in Milton, you say?

Neighbor of mine donated to some model train museum in Maine. Might be worth asking though to be fair getting that stuff out of the basement is a Sawzall party. People don't typically build them to be taken apart.

Reviving this thread - now I'm just looking to get this stuff out of my basement! I've tried every train forum, website and toy store in New England and didn't get a nibble. If anyone wants it lemme know. I suppose this stuff isn't really train-specific. If you've got a kid or grandkid into doll houses or the such, this stuff could be incorporated. Do you have it on FB? There's a guy in Peabody that runs Rehab 5. It's a volunteer org that comes to fire incidents and provides first responders with food, hydration and shelter / cooling. His name is Roger Baker, I know him casually from work but I know he's into trains. I'd love to see if he'd want this stuff. How can I connect you with him?

And for anyone reading this looking to help with the absolute fuck job the area is getting with the wildfires he's accepting donations as he's burning through his supplies at an astounding rate. This is a way to directly improve the lives of first responders. https://www.facebook.com/FIREREHABFIVE Rehab 5 mainly in Essex county / District 5, if you live in another area I recommend looking up your local rehab organization and helping out. I know The Boston Sparks Association helps with rehab in Metro. Thanks for listening to my complete off topic ramble.

He is the only customer you’ve ever had to chase down?

It’s the largest toy train store in the country. No dog in fight, we bought and sold all our O and O27 stuff on eBay.

Any idea if this is his cell: (978) 833-0143? I pulled it off Rehab 5's nonprofit form. If so, I can text him. If not, any way for you to connect us would be great.

Dropping off the in-laws in Duxbury after thanksgiving dinner , I saw a hobby shop on Rt 53 that said “ We buy toy trains “ .

It was nighttime and I didn’t get the name .

He's been there 100 years. He kinda does his own thing, I remember shopping there when I was a kid. Honestly better off just dropping by.
