Hope you don't mind the Plug John....
Our own Mr. John Linn(SP) (Trouble) Has a sugar shack and produces real Vermont Maple syrup. Doc brought Kate and I to visit and it was really neat to see that process. Kate loves the real stuff and I wanted to support a friend. I picked up $48 work of his liquid goodness. Maple syrup that is.... I think Kate is going to take a bath with this later, she loves MS so much.
40:1 ratio. I've got that one John.

If it wasn't for the recent influx of said liquid goodness...I'da been in the market too. I happen to go over to the parents house (where my bike also lives) and oh look, almost 3 gallons of it. So I snaked a jug.
I was thinking of bugging John for some myself.
There is NO substitute for the real deal![]()

When I lived in NH my neighbor had one of the 2 biggest syrup boilers in the state. I spent every spring in that place and collecting sap. I never use the fake crap.
You suck at life. Why don't you quit?
My dad told me I could be anything I wanted when I grew up. So I became an Asshole.
im on the wrong end of the country now so if we can get some contact info for john I'd be all over having him send me some.

There is absolutely no substitute for the real deal ... SO TRUE.
Uncle works a sugar shack up in Brattleboro, VT. Been getting Syrup from him for years and years. The fake stuff just doesn't even come close to the real deal.
BUY IT DIRECTLY FROM THE SHEDS THEY'LL ALWAYS HAVE LITTLE SIGNS OUT FRONT!
Am I beating the dead horse on this thread yet?
I'm not sure how I entirely missed this thread. Sorry everyone, and thanks for the great plug Gino! It's really my father's operation - I'll figure out what he has going for pricing for this year's crop and post it up. You can PM me with more questions or email me at johnl@birdseyebuilding.com.
