Good day !
A brief history on the bike and recent maintenance -
I purchased the bike in 2001 , with 1800 miles . The bike was serviced at Valley motorsports , North Hampton , MA.
Every year / spring that I owned the bike , the oil and filter were changed out and new gas was put in the bike .
Most of time the bike was operating on ethanol free gas or race fuel . Every other year brake fluids were bleed out and replaced with new fluid .
2017 - 6300 miles on the odometer - Timing belt was replaced , and valve lash was checked and it was determined that the valve clearances were " dead on " and no adjustment was necessary .
2018 - Front and rear brake pads replaced . Rear brake line replaced . New dunlop , roadsmart 2's put on the bike .
2019 - New Yuasa battery install , always kept on a tender .
2020 - Spark plugs replaced . Fuel filter replaced . Front and rear Brake fluid changed out . Oil change and filter replaced .
At the present time , the motorcycle runs , drives , and stops with no issues , and this Ducati is in " road ready " condition .
Thanks
Great condition , meticulously maintained , fully upgraded modern classic . This 750SS is about as good as you will find anywhere . In beautiful shape , mechanically strong , no expenses were spared in upkeep .
In its time the 750SS was one of the best bikes in the world , its legendary air - cooled L - twin that has powered four decades of Ducatis , and was the first Ducati to source parts from outside of Italy , leading to a leap forward in quality of the fuel injection system and suspension . This is the bike that bridges the classic and modern era Ducati sportbikes . It still outperforms many modern bikes and the 50 lb-ft of torque really pulls you out of corners . This bike’s fuel injection and airbox were tuned to extract the maximum out of the pistons and exhaust system . Fully adjustable suspension is also tuned for a rider around 175-180lbs . It is a very light 385 lbs wet and has a frame derived from the championship-winning race bikes making it a very sweet handling bike indeed .
The intake howl and exhaust note are as good as anything on the road . The noise and the torque are a joy to experience and will keep you entertained at any speed . The raised clip-ons make this a reasonably comfortable tourer , and I have used it on multi-state rides with no problems . Where it really excels is in the twisties , where the low weight , handling and torque make it an absolute beast ! I have kept pace with an CBR 929 RR through low - medium speed mountain-roads , it is only at jail-bait speeds that this bike loses out to modern sportbikes .
would you be interested in trade for a 535 Virago + $$$$?
This is the time to take a look at a very good example of a Ducati Italian motorcycle.

I hope you come and take a look. Being a JFK liberal/modern day conservative I look forward to meeting you and perhaps buying you dinner. I enjoy your perspective.
