It's time for something new. I have owned this DRZ for the last two years and have built it from the ground up. However, I am doing more trackdays, and no matter how much money I pour into the DRZ, it won't be a race bike.
Located in Rochester, NY. However, I will be up in Maine the first two weeks of June.
2002 DRZ400S
-Estimated 11,000 miles
Engine Mods:
-Full Yosh RS3 exhaust with quiet insert included
-Cylinder Works 434 big-bore kit installed 1000 miles ago
-FCR 39mm carb off of an E-model
-Hotter cams out of an E-model
-Kick-start kit
-Zeta engine plugs
-Head rebuilt/new valves 200 miles ago by Eddie Sisnero "Burned"
-Quick-turn throttle kit
-Manual cam chain tensioner
Wheels/Brakes:
-Excel pro series wheels
-Motomaster SMR caliper and rotor with steel lines ($$)
-Bridgestone BT003RS tires with lots of life left
Body/Suspension:
-New bars/grips
-Shock rebuilt last year
-Just changed fork oil and swapped in 0.46 (stiffer) springs
-Hand-guards included but not installed
-New, clean tank and shrouds off a 2006 SM
-Acerbis SM evo fender
-Unabiker radiator guards
-All new suspension bearings replaced last week!!!! linkage and swingarm
-New chain slider last week
-Trailtech vapor computer
-INCLUDES DIRT WHEELS
The bad:
-it's an 02, the frame is scratched/rusted
-The front wheel, according to the PO, has a small flatspot. I cannot really notice it while riding normally, but above about 80mph you can feel it.
-The suspension has not been revalved for SM
This is a great street sumo, and I know every part of it like the back of my hand. All the fixes and mods are done and the whole top end of the motor is new. Add up the cost of all these parts and you'll come up with a large number.
I'm looking to trade for a track-only 450 or larger sumo. Preferably a yamaha YZ or WR since I have a spare wheelset for them. However, I'm also open to other trades. Let me know what you got
