    Re: Forcefield chest/rib protector

I'm interested -- how is it comfort wise? Would you say it works well regardless of riding style (sport bike, dirt, adv, etc)?

    Re: Forcefield chest/rib protector

I only wore it street rides, but I really like this Forcefield “Nitrex” armor for torso protection. Once you wear it for a few minutes it warms and conforms to your body, but the firmer outer rubber layer I would expect to do a great job at absorbing a “point load” like a handlebar or windscreen. I actually beefed up the chest protection of my Aerostich with a similar model (the back protection too)

Depending on your body shape, it may be more comfortable for more upright dirt/adv riding compared to sport riding. If you’re a bit cMan God about the midsection it can pinch the flab when leaned over. This is the Version 2; Version 1 was more straight across in the front, V2 they changed the shape for a little more “belly relief”.
