Bro is strapped for cash and has been riding his bike all winter [Southern Florida] with a bum stator. He charges it every night. Jackass... That aside he needs a '96 VFR 750 Stator. He does have a bad '02 CBR 954rr donor stator lying around. If no one has one would you know the likelihood of fitting this in there and hitting all of the proper [electrical] variables.

I'd be pretty sure that he also roasted the regulator/rectifier.

Look up the part numbers for the two respective machines. If they're the same p/n then have at it.....if not then don't try it.
The other things are to compare the outputs of each stator, electrical connections, how it mounts....pretty much check everything. I'd be very surprised if both stators are interchangeable.
Just one item...
The regulator is basically the other part of the charging system. From your brief description of how he handled the stator issue... It's shot too.

Check online for aftermarket versions. The ones from Honda were notorious for frying (I believe because of low temp solder). The aftermarket ones fixed this.
