Need at least 3. 4 would be better.
For a Subaru.
If anyone has a set of steel 15" wheels that would fit a 2002 Impreza 2.5RS, that would be even better.

... I have a set of wheels (16) and tires.
Not sure how good the tires are, but the wheels can be seen here: http://picasaweb.google.com/hqp921/2...eat=directlink
I was going to paint them, but haven't gotten around to it.
We have those exact wheels on the car already. I was more looking for either 15" rims to make cheap tires a possibility or some decent cheap tires.

Clayton,
How cheap are you looking for tires? I went through Town Fare Tire and price matched some online place and got four Toyo Proxes 4 tires mounted and balanced for a little over $400 dollars. I would guess you could get somewhere between 4 and 5 hundred for a good set of tires for the wheels you have that will last a while.
Otherwise, I would check out the classifieds on nasioc.com there should be some people willing to get rid of their steelies from their winter tires when they put on their summers for the year.
Wish I had something laying around but I just had to buy a new one for the front and I'll have to buy four in the fall before winter.

Went and got 4 new ones today at Town Fair.
The Toyo Proxies were the last set of tires we had on it, didn't last for shit.
Also had to do brakes which I did in the mud this afternoon, now just need to do struts and exhaust gasket. Ugh, it never ends.

That sucks that the Proxies didn't do it for you. I have had them twice now and they seemingly last a long time for me. What'd you wind up getting this time?
J
Sunny tires. Lotta tread. Much quieter than the Proxy TPT's.

Damn, leave it to me to find the thread too late. I know someone who is about to part out a Legacy wagon, 1999. I'd bet the wheels and tires (I think the tires are pretty new, the wheels have some curb marks) could have been had on the cheap. Too little, too late. Whoops.
Dan K,
Let me know if your buddy with the Legacy wants to sell the wheels and tires. I want/need to get the wheels on my 2000 2.5RS refinished and would need wheels/tires to use while getting it taken care of. If they aren't stupid money I may be interested. That is if they will fit on my car. I would guess them to be 16" wheels with the good old Subaru bolt pattern.
Thanks,
Joel
I'll ask her what she wants for them, and check the size and tire condition. The car blew a motor and she was going to have the motor swapped and never did, and the freebie ride on the spot it's in is about expired, so I think it's going to end up going to the junkyard. It'll probably come down to if it makes more sense to take what the junkyard will give her for the car complete, or strip it of anything that'll sell and then pay the junkyard to take it stripped. Personally I’d throw a new motor in it and fix it up, but it’s not my car, nor do I have any desire to change that.
