    WTB: Decent Size Dog Crate

So we're looking for a reasonably sized dog crate for the house... preferably one of the plastic kinds I think. Its for a beagle but crate for a larger dog would be fine. She broke the one we have (old beat up wire frame cage) and she's gotten her paw stuck under broken welds twice now. We're still working on the house breaking thing (she isn't completely there yet) so....

lemme know what you've got! (cheaper the better obviously)

I have a metal one that's pretty much brand new, I had my dog in it maybe two days.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

x2 - P.S. they are way easier to clean than plastic ones...

Anyway, I have a metal one, coated black - $40? (1/2 of what I paid)

edit... delila is 60 lbs and can lay int it comfortably without too much room to get in trouble.

while we're on topic... anybody want the petsmart invisible fence? Bought it, used it for a couple months then finished the fence around my back yard... you can use any 22 ga. wire you want to run the perimeter - cost me $140 or more... would like to get $40 since delilah chewed the first collor and now it's on a nice "custom" leather collar.

Shit deal dude! That dog is cool shit. I'll have my parents check tonight if they still have the one from when our dog was being trained. She spent like a week in it. If they do i'll hook you up.

might be interested in that too... hmm. I'll talk to the gf and see what she thinks. We're in a pretty typical suburb, the back yard is only 3/4 fenced (and a shitty one at that) and it'd be nice to let her run around without having to worry about her taking off.

    thanks bud.

Yea the only reason I was thinking a plastic one was so she wouldn't pop welds and hurt herself again.... I guess with a decent metal crate that wouldn't be an issue anyway.

Re: WTB: Decent Size Dog Crate

My dog is bigger than yours, although still not full sized. She's mostly ridgeback and very strong for her size. Never popped a weld or got hurt in the thing, but then again she was only in it for a very short time before she started running free and sleeping in our beds.

I'll let you know tonight or tomorrow if they still have the old crate.

I think it's either 4 feet or 42 inches, I'll have to check, i still have the box at home, the pad fit for it and the bowls that hook onto the side. $50 for everything.

I have a metal crate too. It fit my lab/shepard mix (70lbs?) just fine. My 30lb mutt doesn't like it at all. Its been sitting in my basement for 4yrs taking up room. It has been used so not in 'new' condition but nothing broken to injure the pooches. I may clean it up and take pics and see if anyone wants it. $25 and its yours.
