I currently have a Muzzy carbon fiber pipe that is falling apart, the rivets are loose as hell and the whole pipe wiggles quite a bit with the bracket and clamp tightened down. Anyone have a slip on pipe they want to sell me? I know the original pipe for the bike was a bolt on (3 bolt pattern) so that won't work for me, the Muzzy I currently have is a slip over the existing pipe with a clamp arrangement and I would like to stay with that if possible. Don't know is it HAS to be a muzzy replacement, as long as its the same size diameter I don't see the issue with replacing it with a different manf. pipe (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Pipes are stupid expensive, I'd rather rejet than buy a whole new system if all I need is the exhaust can.
Or, if someone knows how I can repair a carbon fiber can so the rivets hold better, I'm open to suggestions.
