125 question

Just picked up an 01 CR125 and while I was dumping the old gas out of the tank a black plastic disk about the size of a quarter came out of the tank...any idea if this is a part or just foreign debris someone dropped in? It did not appear to be part of the cap...

Could be part of a gas can that someone had used previously to fill the bike from. The can I have in my garage has a black disk that fits over the nozzle that screws into the tank to keep the fuel from coming out during transport that looks like what you are describing.

I think I have a black tank in mint shape for a CR.......its free if you want it
