For Sale is a 2001 BBR 426, This bike was premiered on the front cover of Dirt Bike magazine in December 2000 (pictured below) there was only 3 of these bikes made by BBR, The other two bikes were a YZ250F in the Honda frame which was stolen and no where abouts of that bike, The other is a YZ400F in the Honda frame, that one is in a museum in Iowa last we heard, and last but not least this bad boy, This bike is a collectors item and is in PRISTINE condition. this bike would look good sitting in your living room for all your friends to see or even your better half to stare at! It's just a YZF426 motor hung in a Honda aluminum frame with KTM forks? Yeah, it was in a mag, and yeah BBR did some fab work to make it all fit... but that's about it as far as value. It's not a museum piece, nor is it a key moment in dirt bike history. It's not even a BBR framed machine, which they've done.

i don't even understand the concept...

so they dumpstered one of the best CR250 motors and kept the crap chassis? i guess you need to remember this happened 16 years ago... and it was ~$20K back then, too. works bike this is not. cool project, yes.

when you read the old reviews from testing, it makes me puke a little. 4-stroke motors should have never taken over the sport.
