1st DB!

So after some discussion with some friends we decided we wanted to look around for dirt bikes. Mostly for trail riding but once were comfortable we want to hit up some MX tracks. I've been hunting the classifieds for 2 weeks and I ended up picking up a 2001 KX 125. This is my first dirt bike so I didn't really know what to expect. She seems really well cared for and clean. Mostly stocker except for some bars and hand guards. $1100 in the truck w/ shaved down seat, brandy new stock seat, 5 gallons of premixed fuel. couple bottles of premix, and 3 pre oiled air filters.

Nice score. Put the stock seat on ASAP! Learning on a track like crow hill might be less painful (for the bike) than learning in the woods.

Thanks man. I have pretty much zero for MX experience. 7 years street bike. I plan on just taking it slow this fall and winter to get use to the style of riding.

Just keep it on the pipe and you should be fine. When in doubt rev it out.

Nice score! Might be riding this weekend in franklin if the weather holds. Will be newb friendly. Try to get a plate but its been dead lately so you might be ok.
