They just updated their website, like 30 minutes ago. Looks like Game ON![]()
NOV 4th & 5th PRACTICE - 11/2/2006
Looks like we might be able to squeeze in a couple of more weekends of practice before the ground freezes up. The weather outlook is good for this weekend with temps forecast in high 40's. No rain!
$25.00
Track opens at 10am and I'm thinking of getting there around 10:30/11am. It's off exit 32 on Route 95 in Maine, so 32 miles past the Maine border. Took me two hours to get there from Quincy MA.

I rode MX207 a few weeks back. I really enjoyed the track. Was a long, fun, track with a mix of everything. Little bit of a sand section, but nothing like Crow Hill's,. These were shorter and easier to deal with. Some big straights where you can really get the bike opened up as well. There is a nice mix of jumps including a few stepups (fun!), a 4-pack rythem section, 100' long tabletop (so you can basically just jump as far as you can), and a 40' hip/double which is the 'hardest' jump there. Also the back straights develops whoops, but there is also a legit whoop section that is pretty mint for dialing them in.
Along with the big track there is a pitbike / beginner track that is also pretty sharp. You can see it in the 2nd pic below, it's the light coloured track inside of the main track.
I know few people going to go ride over rocks on Saturday, but if not heading there, maybe here.

So much fun today. Was pretty sloppy but I dunno, wasn't as bad as I would have thought. Just power thru it and let the bike move.. and move.. and move..
Pete, I'm impressed man, you a trooper and looked solid considering how nasty it was. Deep ass ruts and stuff. Wasn't childs play out there. That KX250 is pimp and goes well too. Thx for the ride. FU for the roost in the face.
Shower and gooood dinner time.

Thanks man... I'm pretty happy w/ how the day went... That first lap was scary as all hell though... I didn't take any of the shortcuts & went through ALL the slop... Had me a little nervous about how the day was gonna go, i thought i was gonna be in over my head... literally, in a couple of those mud holes. kinda bummed there weren't any jumps i could really clear but I sure as hell improved my muuuuddd ridin skillzKinda tough NOT to when ya don't really have any to begin with

I'm kinda suprised that KX didn't put me on my ass like I expected... definitely a big bike, but managable. Pretty linear power curve compared to those 125's.
You were lookin pretty damn quick out there, even at the end of the day... No doubt you're gonna hold your own just fine once you slap some number plates on that bad boy & start competing.

I'm like that guy at the trackdays who keeps chasing the racers around. heh.
Yea it was tough to get speed for some of the jumps with the mud before the takeoffs. I had to sorta scrub a bunch of them to get the wheels back on the ground and powering. Good to practice BubScrubs! Except that 40 foot dub out the back, fucking-A that thing was SWEET today.
haha Glad I decided to dump it right in front of you and Amanda.
