Well that sucked!

I have one of the worst winter head colds than I've had in years..in fact, I haven't been sick at all in a couple years. No energy at all today so i decided to do something easy and work on getting my YZ back together. I washed what few parts that still needed cleaning outside, then went into the basement to get to work.
At this point, my nose is almost raw from blowing it so much, it was like a dripping garden hose that I couldn't shut off.
So anyway, I have the freshly cleaned carb in my hands and I just drained all the gas out (or so i thought) into a container when it was outside.
What happened next is where it starts to suck! I have the carb in one hand and I wanted to pull the throttle cable to open the slide and make sure there was no water or dirt in there. Well when i pulled the cable, a perfect stream of gas came out of the carb and made a perfect shot up my nose! I forgot about that little pump in there Gas and tendor nose skin is not funny!

I washed it out the best i could but it still burns like fuck after a couple hours. On a good note tho, it seems to have cleared some of my headcold and other than a nose that feels like it's on fire, I feel better

I drained my gas out of carb and tank yesterday hobbling around on crutches, that sucks too!

Try some carmex and rub it on your nose after you blow it, I usually put on a lot jus before I go to bed as well..

I got a dose of carb cleaner in the eye once. That was fun.

I was filling up the Aprilia once a while back & went to give it one last squirt of gasoline to top it off... missed the little opening for the nozel and it sprayed a shit load of gas right up into my face while I had my visor up.... Got in both my eyes, up the nose, eyes watering, nose running. I was almost blinded for a few... Had to run into the gas station, rinse my face good. NOT FEKKIN FUN!

I've heard of gas in the eye and mouth, but never nose...I wonder what (and to whom it) will happen next?

Never got gas my eye or nose but did get it in my ear canal before. SUUUUUUCK!

I'm glad i had glasses on and none got in my eye. Eye pain I think is the worst
No after effects from gas up the nose, and i feel great

Just started teardown on the gs and removed tank but forgot to shut off fuel petcock. Bike is in the cellar and i'm trying not to spill gas on the floor. Didn't work out to well. House stinks like gas now. Wife is so gonna flip!
