yeah, the whoops overall seem eXtra burtal this season. watching the lappers roll through them shows you how peaky they were. nasty for sure.

Decotis has also made a couple of comments about being pretty sick the last couple of weeks and that causing him to lose stamina. Normally I would only half believe it, but the first 2 races of the season he was actually charging forward through the pack at the end of the races. Hope he gets his health sorted quickly, he's got a great opportunity and I really would like to see him make something of it.

250 race was awesome to watch.
webb reminds me a bit of JS7. charges hard. usually it pays off but eventually it bites back hard
great to see that CR22 isnt just a flash in pan. still hanging tough in the top 5 holding off some fast riders. the talent pool is deep this year.

I didn't get to watch it and it looks like FS1 isn't replaying it today bummer.
great race in both classes.
i think RD1 had something for KR94 at the end but just ran out of time. great riding by both though

I agree, I think RD had the pace, but I think he backed off and knew that 2nd place points are a lot better than 5th or worse points. He's a very intelligent rider, and he controls the red plate so he's going to make the others work for it.

Both were great races. The 450 race was intense. Just happy to see great racing
The older I get the Faster I wuz
JS7 is complete fucking tool

Not saying JS7 had nothing to do with it but if you listen to Emig and Ralph earlier in the broadcast when they described what the blue flag means their description was, to not move right or left but to continue on your line and let the faster guys through. What JS7 did appeared to be just that. MM25 looked to make a mistake trying to triple out of the corner and then cross jump right in front of RD5 luckily they didn't get together or both would have likely been hurt. Watching it live I may have agreed tht JS7 had a bigger role in this but father watching the replay it looked more to me that MM25 made a mistake and RD5 capitalized on it. Funny thing to me was tht Emig and Aralph completely contradicted themselves when they started complaining about JS7 after the incident saying he should have moved over and let them go.
Would have been cool to see MM25 win the race but at least he stayed up and got second.
I see it as like we're told at the track. Continue on your line and don't make any sudden changes, but once is safe and as predictable as possible, get off the line and let the leaders through. Not a single rider getting the blue flag has an issue until its Bubba. Amazing how coincidental he's always in the middle of shit.
I would agree with this. JS7 took the line he would normally take through the turn (i would have liked to have seen him pretty much run around either the inside or the outside of the turn to give them room, like a majority of the lappers had done before him, but he didn't, instead taking his usual turn down across the track mid corner line) and then moved all the way to his left to give the two of them room to get by through the rhythm section. What happened to MM25 at that point is he made an error. Still a great race and finish for MM25 even finishing second.
After watching again MM25 did bobble, but if JS7 had not been hard on the gas and just let them through maybe the bobble wouldn't have happened. JS7 shouldn't have even been in the mix coming out of that corner. I'm probably jaded because I just don't like the guy or big fat James Sr. Hopefully he gets depressed running around mid pack or worse and just fucking retires.
I don't think James necessarily caused something like that, MM made a mistake, whether it had anything to do with James only he knows. But if you had to place a bet of the one rider in the series to end up in a discussion like this, it would most likely be Bubba, not sure if its coincidence or what.
KTM Statement on Musquin, Stewart Incident
Following an intense moment on the final lap of Saturday’s 450SX Main Event in Atlanta, the Red Bull KTM Factory Team would like to issue a clarifying statement regarding a highly discussed incident between Marvin Musquin and James Stewart.
While racing his teammate Ryan Dungey for what would have been his first career 450SX Class victory, Musquin made a mistake on his own that ultimately caused him to come up short on a triple and lose the lead position. Stewart, who was not competing for the lead, happened to be near Musquin during his error and has since received undeserved criticism for the incident. The Red Bull KTM Factory Team would like to clarify that there are no hard feelings toward Stewart.
Red Bull KTM Factory Team Manager Roger DeCoster added, “After the race a lot of blame was given to James and I just want to make things clear that the mistake from Marvin was not directly caused by James and we shouldn’t blame him for it. Credit to Marvin, he rode an amazing race and was under tremendous pressure from Ryan for the majority of the race. To lead for 19-consecutive laps is no easy task and how quickly he has adapted to the big bike class in just eight rounds is very impressive.”
Musquin went on to capture a career-best second place finish at the Georgia Dome, while his teammate Dungey took his fifth victory of the season.

I thought JS7 went a little deep in the turn before that section and I'm a little surprised people didn't complain more about that.
