    i'm in Joel's boat, work schedule has been brutal. if i can make it, it will be a last minute deal. no need to worry about food, etc. i'll arrive self-sustaining 1 tent, 1 bike. (unless a mini is needed too)

    its hard packed, with some sandy sections... if you're hitting things smoothly, I can run about 6 laps consistently... You may be able to do more.

    This could work... but i am thinking elbow to elbow racing may cause more "stupid" moments. This is how we ride regularly... do you think people could do the vintage car racing "gentleman's" racing? Doubtful on my end I'm open for opinions on that.
