You can always retro fit your own system to it. That's kinda your thing, isn't it? Maybe build one out of a Raspberry Pi and custom build some software?

FWIW, my '13 came jetted puurrrfectly right out of the box and the Beta jetting chart is spot on for tweaks depending on your elevation, etc. they've done their homework.

No, that's what you get when you premix. This is variable ratio dependent on load and RPM.

@ Kurlon - oil injection is nothing new...I had it on my '79 KD125...isn't fixed ratio, w' out the weight of the oil injection system sufficient?

feel like the regular 2-stroke engine design is done right...simple, powerful, light, easy to work on...any alteration from that will take from somewhere

Electronic injection gives the system more flexibility, you can basically stop injecting at idle until a certain time elapses, then squirt a burst in, etc. In short, you can use a LOT less oil while not lowering the protection of the system which results in better emissions and keeps the EPA / Euro axe-men away for one more year. Eventually there will be a total ban on two strokes that don't meet certain standards, off road use included so the motors are GOING to have to evolve to stay relevant. It's going to suck when they tell me I'm not allowed to run my 92, period...
