he's shredding sure...but I've also ridden mini bikes on both MX and go-kart tracks and it's pretty darn uncomfortable for MX
this is coming from someone who has 2 CR80's awaiting track time...

Could they possibly get any lower quality video? Oh, yes, apparently there is a single bit rate that's lower. Good.

I bought a xr100 (mostly for sm and dirt track) because I wanted some more seat time and something to play on that was cheap to race, plus the lower speeds means less fear so the battles for position are better. Then After running two races I realized I would have to sink at least 2 grand to Make my stock 100 even remotely competitive. So I sold that bitch and put the money back into my big bike stuff
Well, an XR100 playbike I totally understand and would love to have. I wouldn't invest anything in it. Just practice on it. It's the 50 base MX stuff I just don't get. Those things are so awkward to ride, and when you soup them up they just handle worse and worse.
I use a KX100. Infinitely better than an xr in suspension, handling, braking and powa! And that is just a stock bike
ya...an xr100 and kx100 are fun bikes...you can actually sit on them as an adult...not worth too much $$ into them though

Yeah I dunno, I thought the 50 based bikes were kinda ghey until I got DESTROYED buy the master of mini guys at cycles 128. Some of these little bastards are crazy fast. How do you like the 100? I've thought about ether doing a 100 or a 80 2stroke mini sm but I'm pretty suspect of being able to put down the power on the 2 stroke
I dont think i could ride that fast if i was on pavement

they're fine...the first few times you'll be afraid of riding it on the pipe, but once you get used to being on the pipe all the time, they're a lot of fun
here are the 65's I rode...
they were fast and cheap, but imho - they were a bit small for me to sit properly...
here are our CR80's...
these are a much better fit for me at 6' in terms of sitting on the bike comfortably...
and they are dangerously violent fun
I would also personally go 4t, but compared to the 2t's they are pretty underpowered...and the XR100 only has drum brakes unless you put a CR80 front end on it. Regardless, I thought the XR100 is a smooth/easy/fun bike!

The 100 was a ton of fun but like I said the mini class has gotten way out of hand. Most of the people are running 150fs now, many with 230 jug,17s and all the suspension goodies. Those who do still run 100s are built I just can't justify spending that much money on a mini.
