My local track was just groomed, just in time for the f!!!!!!ing snow!!!!
I will have to make up for it this weekend.![]()
Dirt saturday, street sunday for me![]()
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
Wow, as predicted, great conditions this afternoon. I was the only one at the track, so the dust stayed down, and it's 100 percent dry now. I worked on some new lines, cornerspeed, and the vertical drop.
The whoops are back with a vengeance. getting southwick style. I found a few smooth alternatives to my usual lines.
I forced myself to stand until the apex of every corner, then sit and gas it simultaneously. This definitley increased my corner speed on the way in and gave my much more drive on the way out without the bike stepping out on me like it usually does.
The drop...is awesome! Completely blind take off that is vertical due to a root that prevents the lip from rounding off. The first ten feet is so steep you have no coice but to clear it, then it is nice steep landing zone for another 20. I was clearing a good 20 foot drop today. baby steps!
jealous! sounds killer![]()
Beta 200RR
ya rad, I think I am going to try and ride tomorrow...can't wait. My bike is so new and fresh it is yelling at me to go and ride![]()

Carlton and I hit up a local mini woods track and all I could think about, when I looked down at the moist but firm dirt, is the title of this thread
we also had a pretty fun day...great weather, no (major, haha) accidents, the bikes ran great, and we aren't completely beat.
I just need to finish my super secret project so I have a cheap, quick and easy way of getting the dirt bike to the trails...
and I hate all of you for hiding the fun factor found in a fiddy
and the usual wheelie time on the XR200R...
