Maybe some Kutters are in my near future. Lost a headlight, trim cover and snapped a fender stay. Happened the second time I hit a tree this weekend at Bear Brook...
First tree, my front tire caught it as I was drifting through a turn. Fucker had me tumbling down the trail a bit. The Raptor just kinda dove nose first into the deep snow off the side of the trail. No damage to the bike on that one. Just fucked up my shoulder (again) and have some small bruises where my legs caught the handlebars...
Second time is where the damage happened. Got pinched by a sled coming the other way. The turn was icy and he was just pushing through it. Admittedly, I was going at a good clip. When I pushed wide to avoid him, my front tire caught the soft-pack on the edge of the trail. Sucked me right in and down into the woods and onto a tree. No damage to me really, except a sore back from trying to get the thing outta the snow and back on the trail. A family on sleds came by and helped me get the thing out...

Poor Rappy
The kutters won't help much in the snow, you pretty much need spikes for snow.
Plowing a track on the lake and a box of 1000 ice screws will get your blood flowing though![]()

Nice job, dumbass...
