I received this from the President of NETRA:
Hello all,
Extremely Important!
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick is seeking input that is most important to us. Please take 5 minutes out of your time to write the Governor how important it is that he reopens the forests we once had for ORV use.
Log onto The official web site for Deval Patrick, Governor of Massachusetts
...in the "Featured Issues" search box, type in: orv use in state parks
Then click onto the ORV Use In State Parks and the Dirtbikes in our state parks to write your support for ORV use.
The only caveat to all of this is that you must be a registered voter in Massachusetts. Other than that, pass this onto as many people as possible to write the Governor!
I truly appreciate your attention to this important matter.

That's a good site! I entered a vote. BTW, this technique is the only one that works in state politics. I depend on state money for my living and fortunately Adult Education is well organized. We barrage the state with phonecalls, emails and letters so heavily that we avoid cuts even when schools are losing money.
DO IT NOW! also, pester your local reps.
thanks for the thread.. . added my vote of support!

Patrick's Web site draws comment from voters of all stripes
BOSTON (AP) -- Governor Deval Patrick's political Web site is proving a popular online destination. Voters of all stripes, from cranks to good government types, have been flocking to the site to vent on their favorite topics.
These range from gay marriage and renewable energy to September 11 conspiracy theories and opening up the state's parks to off-road vehicles.
In the six days since the Web site went live, nearly 24 hundred visitors have signed up to post messages on more than 360 different issues.
Organizers say Patrick will read the site and occasionally respond, although he hasn't yet.
Tufts University political science professor Jeffrey Berry says the Web site can also function for Patrick as a virtual hotline to supporters.
The web site is located at: Welcome to DevalPatrick.com
