Anyone know of a place to look for replacing a 2002 (may not be right on year) KX 80 motor? Friend's kid smoked his motor.. Any info would be great..

Usually you can rebuild a 2 stroke pretty cheaply... New Crank, barrel replated, head milled new top end, and bob's your uncle.

Thats what I told him to do, but he just does not want to get into the bottom end, which is where he thinks the problem is..PLus it's football season, and He has 2 kids playing popwarner so between work and that he has no time, So I will assume it will sit there til next spring..
