dirt bike 55w bulbs?

I have a headlight wired to my 50 but the crappy autozone driving lights keep popping. I need to get a heavy duty baja bulb or something. It is 55w..any suggestions?

Did the bike have any lights before? If not then there is probably no regulator and a power surge is popping your bulbs. You can put any wattage you want in there and it's still going to pop

hey know it all go yourself no it didnt but we wried up the stator and installed a regulator.. it is the filiment in the bulb that is breaking. most likely from wheelies and jumps etc.. it is not burning out like from a surge...
