Nothing fancy , just the local loop.
We headed out somewhat early and it was a bit nippy
but we warmed up quick on the trails .
I had a bitch of a time getting up the bank on the other side of this water , mostly because I picked the wrong line , but being 3rd has its advantages as you get to see 2 others go and you can pick and choose your line .
digital cameras suck for action shots some times as you miss things
but she made it no problems, it really wasn't to hard if you took the right line , and if you could actually get your bike going , I guess thats why the kickstand has a safety on it so you won;t go down into the river with your kickstand down
there were a couple of nice steep sections in the pine forest
but better to go down them than up them ,
we try this hill everytime and more often than not we don;t make it up , there is no run at it from the bottom, you come around the corner and go straight up .
This time was no different than before , I "almost " made it over the top
thats it for pics as we were too busy riding from then on out , this time of year is a challenge for sure as even dry leaves "if you can find any" are slick and cover the mud lying beneath , I spent some time on the ground today for sure , but its the good kind of sore .

Renee and I did much of our local D.S. loop on Sunday, too.
Heard lots of gunshots. Is hunting season on? Is hunting on Sunday allowed in Mass?
nice pics!
would studs help with the leaves? I figure it'll cut through the soft stuff to grip on the harder stuff
No you can not legally hunt on sundays in mass, perhaps a gun club near by or a sand pit where people were doing some illegal target shooting ?
and No I don't think that spikes or studs would help with leaves you would end up having them stick all over your wheel in layers and make it worse, plus whats underneath is usually mud as the soil isn't exposed to the sun and air to dry out .
Best thing is throttle control to keep the rear from spinning up , although getting your mind and your wrist to cooperate doesn't always work as planned.
