cant wait for next season to kick off. will be interesting to see if DeCoster can refocus Dungey on the Pumpkin. Roczen was burrrnin' at MXdN on the 'little bike'.

While I like the pumpkin bikes, I sorta agree with some of the guys on NEDB..he's a top 5/6th place rider on a jap bike, he's gonna be a top 5/6th place on a Pumpkin
Yamaha
that's underestimating the power of DeCoster![]()

How is Dungey at top 5 th or 6 th place rider? He was top three all season SX and MX with the exception of mechanical issues (that admittedly anyone could have had, it was just his turn) he would have had significantly more points than Villopoto wound up with and the championships to go with them.
I hope he does really well. Out of all the riders he is the most consistent and actually has a little bit of personality in his interviews without being a punk about it. He comes across as a professional out there doing a job not a punk out there partying it up all the time.
I also like Villopoto but he's boring in the interviews. He can ride the he'll out of a bike though. Stewart would be good if he could figure out how to not crash o damn much. Reed, gotta say I like the new Reed, h is much better now that he is a team owner.

Agreed with you guys mentioning Canard! I sometimes forget him because he was hurt for a lot of this year. When he is on he is one fast SOB I just hope the whole issue with the femur gets put behind him. If he hurts it again I think it would pretty much end his long term career.
Little topic change, anyone interested in meeting up in Anaheim in January for Anaheim 1? I am thinking that it might be a fun trip.
Canard is fast, but lacks durability and consistency. Dungey is definitely a top 4 guy -- and that's with everyone (Stewart, Reed, Villipoto) healthy. All 4 of those guys seem to be similar speed, just depends on who gets the start and who doesn't. This is going to be an interesting year, I really hope Dungey does well, I'd love to see KTM up on the podium regularly.
Off topic, anyone heard any news about who Stewart is racing for this year? He's no longer with L&M......

Canard did win a championship, but ya staying out there all season has been a problem overall. I hope he stays healthy this year as his style is amazing on the bike when he's on it.
I think it is still being worked on as far as Stewart. Right now all signs/rumors point to Suzuki.

What a ride by Dungey at southwick moto #2, the gate dropped and he was still waiting for his bike. Rode like a man possessed and finished 7th. Even if the depth of the nationals isn't what it used to be it was an inspiring ride to get through all that traffic in the mud and rain due to Irene coming.
