Yesterday was supposed to be crappy weather, but I took a chance and invited a few friends to ride at my place. The skies cleared around 10am, and we left my backyard at 11.
Things get scenic right away, but we only stopped for one pic session
Tyler rode my KDX on his first dirtride in years...
Ken C showed on his DRZ after many month locked in his writing studio...
I rode my trusty new steed...
to be continued...
Looks like fun, I managed to get out today for a local rip, I wanted to test how long I could do single track with out a break, I made it 26 miles and had to take a breather. Mostly medium level dificulty, although others that have done the loop say is hard, I guess I'm just used to it. Ended up with 33 miles for the day of that about 4 miles were connector roads.
What do you mean there are only a few weeks left in the season? If you aren't riding in state forests, the season doesn't end. I would recomend though that this time of year you dirt ride on sundays and not saturdays due to the hunting season being open, you may piss off the hunters if you scare away their game. Plus you could get shot at.
Glad to see people are actually doing some riding around here.

I hear ya about the hunters. We saw many on our way out, but we respectfully kept quiet and cruised through those areas. I did spot a ring necked pheasant right next to the trail, and made a quick 360 degree scan to make sure we weren't a target! Luckily, my bike and helmet are ORANGE!
Anyway, the practice area is left alone by the hunters because it's used regularly.
btw, I'd challenge you do do five laps around my practice spot at a medium pace without stopping...23 miles without stopping sounds great though!
looks like a fun day! i am a sap with too much werkie-werk![]()

I like your spot Paul. Looks like a fun rollercoaster style trail setup. Invitation only I'm sure, but let me know if you need another orange bike to deter the hunters with. Those berms and whoops look like lots of fun. (I'm guessing quads made them?)
They should call Production Twins what it really is, Shitty McBikefest. Rules for Participation: If your bike runs lower laptimes than a lawnmower, you are not eligibile for Shitty McBikefest. -Darrell

Did YOU cut those trails, Paul?
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Oh, I was answering Rebel's question, but you should come down and check it out before cutting trail on your land...
One BIG consideration is drainage. Build it into low spots and any whoops at the beginning. You'll have an unrideable track most of the time if you don't

That looks like a fun woodsie spot. Braap
