Whats up with this track? Can you just pay 35$ and ride all day? Seems like it on their website. It's like to good to be true lol. Can you hop on and off the track when ever you want through out the day? Surprised I found out about this track elsewhere and not here.

I have never been to MX 101, so I cannot comment on that particular track. I can, however, let you know about some other localish public mx tracks that have open practice that you might not be aware of, if you were not aware of MX 101. MX 23, in Brookfield MA, has a daily fee and you pretty much go on and off whenever you please. The track is fun and suits a lot of different abilities, but I probably would not plan to go there right after heavy rains. The owner is pretty good about updating his Facebook page with photos of current conditions and an honest assessment. There's also New Hampshire motocross, NHMX, formally known as Jolly Roger, that has open practices sometimes...I think they just had some this weekend or last. I would call that track a must visit for sure. Super super fun! MX 338 in Southwick has a lot of open practice days, on the exact same layout that is used for the national motocross every year as well as frequent races with a bunch of different organizations at the amateur level. Days at 338 are usually early and late in the season and are split up into 15 minute per hour blocks. That is plenty of riding time on that track, though! I'd call mx338 a "must visit" too.
Depending on how many are running it'll either be an 'all swim' ride as much as you want, or broken up between kids and 'a/b' riders in 10 to 15 minute sessions. Even with groups, if you leave wishing you could have ridden more, you're an iron man.
Oh yeah, crow hill too...that place has tons of open practices and is awesome
Cool thx for the info!
