Looking into dirt boots. Done a bunch of research, was going to go alpinestars when i first started looking but after hours of looking Gaerne SG10's caught my eye, they are on RockymountainATV for $320 free shipping, its still pretty expensive but def cheaper then the $430 they retail for, so anyone have them? are they worth the money? hows the fit?

I have never owned them because I never had the money...but I have only heard stellar things about those boots.

I hear ya, wasn't planning on spending that much but when it comes to gear I don't mind spending extra if its worth it and that much betterOriginally Posted by csmutty

Have them, LOVE them. Comfortable from the day I bought them. I've taken some pretty good shots to the foot while riding without so much as a sore foot afterwards. The buckles are simple to close unlike the problems I see my friends with the A* boots having with their buckles.
Next set of boots will either be another pair of SG10s or if I hit the lottery I might try a pair of the SG12s.

Here's a couple of links to NEDB and posts about dirt boots

The sg10 is the industry standard for New England woods boots. EVERYBODY uses them. They're the best high end bang/buck boot IMO. I would've gotten them myself if I hadn't tripped on a good deal on a pair of crossfires.
