Too bad a chunk of land like this wasn't a little closer, especially for that kinda price![]()

It does make you think. Campgrounds, Fees for riding and camping. Could turn it into one of the only moto specific getaways in NE. 50 members to start with equal payment. I'll bet the land could be had for cheaper too. Land use rights could be the only obstacle...but if done right (low envir. impact) it could work.

way too far out, as mark mentioned.
you really don't need that much land either for a few tracks.

Distance is a factor, but maybe not for the weekend excursion. You must be another motocross snob...LOL. 1300 acres would make for some nice trails.

My first thought with 1300acres was a ATV trail system, maybe a MX track as well. A MX track would be nice, but really, you can build a killer MX track on 10-15 acres with a parking area included.
Definatly a bit far to travel for something like that though, and there certainly is no demand for it up there as of now. Maine, unlike RI, Ct, Vt and Mass has a rapidly growing ATV trail system. There are over 3,000 miles of legal, designated ATV trails statewide in MaineHow long will it last, who knows, but in the 20+ years I've been going to Maine, not much has changed in the small towns so me thinks it'll always be a growing sport
