The red seat goes back to the 1998 R1 as well, it's the same shade.
I've seen some pictures where the red matches the frame color, but I've never seen this in person so i'll have to wait until midweek to find out....

It's one of those things, pictures change shit and make them look add. The seat isn't bad, I kinda like it, then again I love the looks of the red seat on the R1 as well. It's the red in the frame that is the trick color, it changes with different lighting.
