Racing bicycles Sunday, no bicycle races Saturday so I'm only gonna go for an easy spin leaving the rest of the day open. Anyone want to rip some moto?
Trails or MX, no matter. Haven't been out at my place yet this year, we could always give that a shot.

Have to ask. If I am a NH resident, what do I need to do to get a MA sticker to ride these places y'all are mentioning?
for the MX tracks, nothing. just show up, sign waiver, pay ~$30.
for legal off-road spots, breakdirt has a good overview on MA ORV here: http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...=1#post1301875

Thanks! I might have to get one of those stickers. I guess in Maine, if you have a plated trail bike, that covers the need for a sticker. I guess I am all set then. And to settle to terms, does VT give NH reciprocity?
Sadly no. There is currently no reciprocity between the states of New England. You want to ride somewhere you need to make a donation to whatever it is each state is taking the trail sticker money from and giving it to.
The one thing that isn't clear for NH residents trying to register in MA is how sales tax is handled. You have to show proof of sales/use tax paid but since we don't pay it in NH, we can't show it.
I haven't bothered to try and figure it out since it seems like too much of a hassle relative to the riding area I would gain.

Soooo, Saturday...Crowhill, MX101? I haven't been to either, I've only been to MX207 and Rock Pile. How do they compare?

I've never ridden crow hill as a track, only at Jday but nothing looked to big as far as jumps go. Mx101 wasn't to bad but the day I went it was PACKED PACKED and the track was clapped by like noon. Wareham is still my favorite track even though I'm not a huge fan of a few of the newer sections but not many people like how sandy it is there so it's hard to get people to go.Originally Posted by JettaJayGLS
As for me, I was planning to ride 101 either Saturday or Sunday but a nagging hip injury will probably keep me off the bike this weekend as I can't seem to get the pain to go away

I'm in, I could do crow hill or 101, they're about the same distance from Quincy anyway. Jay I'd be happy to come and ride your trails again on my new to me bike

oh man...night dirt rides to the top of the mountain are AWESOME!
don't out ride your headlights...the shadows tell you how deep the next drop is going to be...and I wish I had more off-road lights on the bike!!
craziness - sketchy single track, where a foot to your left meant you were falling down the side of a cliff...is pretty f'n scary

The are some helmet lights on Amazon and Ebay for around $30 that are dual beam with LiPo batteries.
