Looking for anyone interested in mixing some gravel and pavement rides in the tri-state area. Brattleboro, Keene, Greenfield as general starting points.
keep an eye out in upcoming rides, I do a few dual sport rides like that , but I usually leave from orange mass and head west toward greenfield , wendel, shutesburry etc.
not exactly what you looking for . but just a bit south.

How dual sport are we talking, just dirt roads or thumper territory?
And you're from Saxtons River? My girlfriend grew up right around the corner from there in Westminster.
Look at Berkshire Trail Riders and VT Beemers

Gearhd6, a little bit of everything is my preference. We try to find routes that include some thumper ground. If your ever in Westminster pm me and we can ride.
Theothersean, would love a guided tour around, or through the Quabbin.
I don't think I could pull off thumper territory with my Tiger unfortunately.
If you are looking for interested people, I am. I just bought a new KTM 350EXC, and I will be looking to put some miles on it as soon as the weather warms up a bit.
Out of curiosity, what kind of bike are you on?

GearHd6, my friend I ride the most with is on a GS1200, our "thumper" tracks are usually shortcuts where the road used to go. I am open to all terrain and not ashamed or judgmental when it comes time to turn back. Around these parts we can do 150 miles plus per day and 75% can be gravel.
Greg, I'm on a 08 KLR650
Well that sounds do-able for me. I was just picturing some gnarly rutted up sand or mud sections. There is no way I could pull that off without hitting the deck, something I'd rather not do on my Tiger. Keep me in the loop on this if you think it will happen, I'd be interested and probably just stay in Westminster.
My plan is 3-4 at hours at least every weekend as soon as weather permits. Willing to travel an hour to meet up and ride other areas.
Sounds good. We'll have to pick a weekend(s) and I'll plan to stay at the girlfriends parents house.
I will pick it up next weekend... :-) I sold all of my bikes at the end of last year, with the solid intent of rolling over my inventory, but then we experienced a couple of severe family catastrophes/events (Loss of a Parent, Daughter in a bad auto accident,...), and now, I am just getting going again. I almost threw in the towel, and was contemplating getting out of bikes all together, but my wife insisted that I press onward. This has been a long, cold winter for us, and we will be glad to see Spring.
