No idea on how to plate a Yami 450 MXer in Maine short of going the Dirt Legal, they plate it for you out of state under an LLC path? If you've got a title or MCO, and it doesn't scream 'not for road use' all over it, your town hall may just hand you plates as long as you show sales tax has been paid and you've got proof of insurance, as long as it's not a bigger town hall ala Portland?

Oddly enough I am kicking around the thoughts of a 4-stroke dual sport that is street registerable for some different adventures I would like to experience. My woods itch is being scratched very nicely by my '21 Husqvarna TE300i though so I don't know if I "need" another Yamaha YZ woods weapon.

It’s surprisingly rideable in the woods, but it is the FX version with softer suspension and different gearing. I use my phone to load tamer maps when woods riding, and change back the full power when I do a trackday.
I do have all the paperwork for it, and to Kurlons point, the MSO does say not for highway use
