Working on it.
I think they park in a different area for these event, down near the dam at the end of the railroad bed.
If I don't get on snow, I'm there.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
i was wondering about parking.. .
Beta 200RR
I think I will be in for some morning riding. Where are you guys all gonna meet up?
mike0479... not sure yet. i'll ask about parking (unless any other here know??)
an update for those not on NEDB
I have about 10 confirmed Chili recipes coming to fight it out for top honors! 'Significant others' beware Sunday night!!!!
Any beef stew or better yet Venison stew out there?
I laid out the course Saturday:
1 mile closed PeeWee/Beginner loop
'Advanced' PeeWees can hit the last 1/2 mile of the main loop for more of a challenge.
Main loop is ~ 7 miles, nothing too difficult, all of the fun trails in Hodges!
For those of you looking for a challenge the Hero loop is about 3 miles, recommended for A/B riders only.
If the weather forecast hold true this will be a fun day for all!
Beta 200RR
Main loop it is, no hero for me, lol.
I think they park off of Old Howarth Rd if I am not mistaken.

I'll be there, running the main loop. Probably be there at 11:00, just to let it warm up a little. I may bring chilli.
OK, thanks Mike. think i parked over there my very first time out but moved over to the usual spot.
wonder what trails the Hero loop uses![]()
Beta 200RR
hahaa, nah, we rode all the easy stuff![]()
Beta 200RR
I knowjust kidding.
Shit, if I go I'm in for the both the Main and Hero loop.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
Going to try and bring the wife and kid. I can hang with Natalie while Ange rides the 150 around the beginner loop.
sweet! maybe Kat + Ben should stop down...
i'm no Hero or A/B rider, will have to hear where it goes before sacking up![]()

That map link is where they parked for the enduro, I'll bet it's the same.
I'm gonna guess the hero stuff is on the backside where all the choppy/steep/rocky stuff is. Since it's contained to hvd, they can't use a lot of the enduro stuff, you need a plate to get to it.

yeah, ive ridden the entire place, its all standard NE trail. only one or two sections ate me alive (upper rock gap)
Beta 200RR
Yeah, I think we're talking about the same stuff. Looking at the map, it appears in the top left.

In.
Chip and Mike, you guys are correct on parking/start...
No, We are starting at the Dam at the south end, same place as the adult and Jr Enduros start.
Take exit 4B off 395 and head west on Sutton turnpike.
Cross Route 12 and keep heading west on Charlton street.
Do not enter at the main sign to Hodges Village, keep heading west.
Take next right on OLD Howarth Rd (not Howarth Rd).
It will be arrowed all the way from the highway.

Look for an older guy, with a plain white, open face "Dork" helmet, on a nice, new KTM350. :-)
i was always an open face guy too, do you wear a vintage MX face mask? i've still got a Scott and Smith in the garage but wore Oakley myself.
updated the second post with peeps...
hey R7, you in?? how about Fast_Eddie and Joey?? Joel?
